Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is a fixed (non-removable) appliance and an excellent solution for replacing missing teeth.

Dr. Haskin and Dr. Goldstine offer several types of bridges, and they will work with you to determine the best option for your specific needs. The most common type is the traditional bridge, often made of porcelain for its natural appearance. This bridge consists of two crowns placed on the anchoring teeth (abutment teeth), with artificial teeth (pontics) in between, filling the gap created by missing teeth.

Dental bridges are highly durable and can last many years, but over time, they may need to be replaced or re-cemented due to normal wear.

Dr. Haskin and Dr. Goldstine create a dental bridge by placing crowns on the teeth adjacent to the gap (abutment teeth) and attaching artificial teeth (pontics) in between. This fixed appliance restores your smile and allows you to chew and speak properly while preventing nearby teeth from shifting.

With proper care, dental bridges placed by Dr. Haskin and Dr. Goldstine can last 10 to 15 years or more. Maintaining good oral hygiene and attending regular check-ups will help extend the life of your bridge.

A dental bridge not only restores the appearance of your smile but also improves your ability to chew and speak. Dr. Haskin and Dr. Goldstine will customize your bridge to blend naturally with your surrounding teeth, ensuring both aesthetic and functional benefits.
